Illinois Men
Snag Giant
Two - Headed
Fish near Nuke

Barry Blue and Mitch Lirtzman reeled-in quite an unusual oddity last Friday near the 1150 MW Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. The freak discovery was a "monster fish" that contained two heads. A spokesman from Ohio Edison had no immediate comment other then a brief statement that there were "no known releases of radioactive material from the plant and that public safety had in no way been compromised."

Mr. Blue, co founder of The Northern Chapter of the Royal Fish Academy, was quoted as saying, "I just helped Mitch put the "kitchen sink" on, when my line suddenly snapped taught and we pulled up one hell of a sight".

Mr. Lirtzman, also co-founder of The Northern Chapter of the Royal Fish Academy continued, " I just never saw such a thing. I was scared to death, at first."

The pair soon delivered their unusual catch to the Ohio Office of the Environmental Protection Agency, where it reportedly "glows in the dark".

It should also be noted that this reporter ran across this pair in 1979 while working at a Chicago newspaper and at that time, I felt that they were destine for great things. It seem that I have spoken the truth. Tom Demos June 30, 1994
