The Northern Chapter of the Royal Fish Academy has been in existence in one form or another since man started catching fish. You may have been an associate member for years, and not even known. Hard to believe, but true. You may be asking yourself, "Self, what the heck is this guy talking about?" The answer is Fish Stories. Yes, that's right, fish stories have been around since man began fishing. Remember going out fishing on a warm summer day with your Grandfather? Remember him drinking a few beers, and telling you about the "monster fish" that got away, that he fought with over and hour on #10 monofilment with ¼ oz. yellow jig. Then he falls asleep. You get the idea? Now, in the Cyber Age, it seems only right to move from telling fish stories to anyone who will listen, to posting them on the Web. These same, incredible, fish stories can take on new meaning when posted on the internet, as you can see when you check out some of our Fish Stories. If you have a fish story that you feel is worth sharing, then send it to the Grand Puba@ncorfa.com and the N.C.O.R.F.A. Department of Redundancy Department, will review and decide if it meets our unpublished criteria. (See our unpublished criteria elsewhere on this site) The current The Northern Chapter of the Royal Fish Academy was founded 1969 by the Grand Puba Barry Blue and the Grand Puba Mitch Lirtzman. (Mitch later on founded The Southern Chapter of the Royal Fish Academy (S.C.O.R.F.A.) based out of Lafayette, LA.
